The consulting mandate is focused on the transformation of the business units Light Rail Vehicles, Locomotives and Systems from a project into a product organization. Multi-functional teams will therefore be established at strategically selected locations in Europe and North America, being responsible for the product development and definition of delivery standards for the whole product lifecycle (new build and service).

The aim is to standardize and re-use the existing products and services, reduce the development costs and bring predictability to bids and project execution.

The consulting project with the Autobahn GmbH included a broad range of strategic activities such as:

  • Designing the newly created Human Resources organization together with the CHRO
  • Crafting a people and organizational plan to enable business strategy and
  • Operationalizing the people strategy including a ramp up and recruitment plan

The multi-year consulting project has a clear focus on the evaluation and strategization of People Factors as part of Euroalpha’s and Euromega’s reorientation to create a basis for profitable growth by 2021. 

The sales organization and customer services are reorganized and strengthened, as well as strategically aligning the HR processes of recruiting, talent and performance management and succession planning.
